About the Mission:
The family of US Air Force Veteran John C. Schrader has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Schrader passed surrounded by his family on 25 August 2025.
After graduating from high school, Mr. Schrader entered the Air Force on 10 April 1962 and trained as a Personnel Specialist (AFSC 73250) at Greenville Air Force Base, Mississippi. After completion of his training, he was transferred to Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, Montana, attached to Headquarters, 341st Combat Support Group. He was honorably discharged on 8 April 1966, and for his service to his nation was awarded; Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Small Arms Expert Ribbon.

Members will stand a flag line for arriving guests and family. After a dignified transfer, PGR will escort the family and their hero to White Chapel Memorial Park for interment with military honors.
